# 2.5.0: Search every log line, and 30-day retention on Scale

## Log search

The new **Logs** page searches every log line in an environment, not just one run at a time. Type plain text, or filter on the fields you pass to `ctx.log`:

- `invoiceId:inv_8812` finds every line that logged that invoice, across jobs.
- `job:send-invoice level:error` narrows to errors from one job.
- `"PDF renderer timed out" since:24h` matches a phrase within a time window.

Results link to their run, with the attempt and step they came from. Searches over 14 days of logs usually return in under two seconds.

The CLI has the same filters: `runnel logs --job send-invoice --since 1h --grep timeout`.

## Longer retention on Scale

Logs on the Scale plan are now kept for 30 days, up from 14. Team stays at 14 days and Hobby at 3. Enterprise retention is set per contract, from 90 days.

## Improved

- Structured fields are shown as a table under each log line instead of raw JSON.
- `ctx.log` accepts up to 64 fields per line, up from 16.

## Fixes

- Very long log lines (over 32 KB) were dropped. They are now cut at 32 KB and marked as truncated.
- Follow mode in `runnel logs --follow` stopped after 10 minutes of silence.
